A target market = simply put is a group of people that have the same desires/problems.
Let's discuss a few strategies:
Who are you talking to and where are they now? -The more you can narrow, define your target market, the type of people, their desires, their life situations, values etc. The deeper you'll be able to impact them. - Doing this will allow you to specifically tailor your words for the specific market that you're in.
Do Market Research - You need to understand as much information about the target market as possible, the best way you can go about this is. Talk to customers and ask questions such as: What was frustrating about their previous life? What things changed? What's great about their current life? What they wanted back then?
Create an Avatar - You create a person that represents your target market with the market research you have found and analysed. You want to define the avatar with these questions: Name, age and face Background and mini life story/history- Need to understand the general context of their life/previous experience Day-In-The-Life = If you can get a rough idea of their Day2Day life and immerse yourself in their world the easier it will be to relate to them when you write/advertise.
